JWN Foundation continued to focus on the issue of period poverty for International Women’s Day 2022 on March 8 under the theme ‘Break the Bias: Gender Equality today for a sustainable tomorrow’. Building on last year’s donation of 2100 sanitary napkins to 1046 girls at 12 institutions, JWNF in 2022 donated 3122 sanitary napkins to 1561 girls at 18 institutions across Kingston, Clarendon, and St. Elizabeth with a value of J$1,013,150.00.
